The Amigos

Amigos with Our Kids!

Inspired by the primarily female Angels auxiliary, two men started the Amigos in 2004 to fulfill the need for more positive male role models in the lives of Casa Pacifica’s kids.  The goal was to compliment the amazing, large-scale parties already being provided by the Angels for the children with activities that might teach basic life skills, or develop teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play. The Amigos are all volunteers who have the special opportunity to bring their ideas to life.

Join the Amigos today!

The AmigosThe Casa Pacifica Amigos are always looking for new members!  If you have a vision for how to help Casa Pacifica’s kids, the Amigos can make it happen! Do you want to share your passion for Soccer? Photography? Computers? Cars? Poker? Whatever it is, you can share it! Not only will you work with amazing kids, but you also become part of a very dedicated, friendly, and fun group of people who all deeply care about children. If you want to share your ideas, creativity, time and support, you would be a great Amigo!

Summer Lifeguard Days

L.A. County lifeguards spend the day with the Amigos and the kids sharing their experiences and water safety knowledge. It’s a wet and wild day, complete with inflatable water slides and in-the-pool fun!

Eagle Team Day

Theme-based relay races such as the “Construction Relay,” “NASCAR Relay,” and “Firefighter Relay” are great fun for all.

Hands-On Clinics

Include such events as the Custom Car Show and Auto Maintenance Clinic, or the Bike Mechanics Clinic with accompanying bike ride.

Pinewood Derby (Spring) and Raingutter Regatta (Fall)

These exciting activities take place over three consecutive Saturday mornings. The first Saturday, the Amigos help the kids cut and sand their cars or boats. The second Saturday they paint and detail their masterpieces. And the final Saturday is RACE DAY when they put their cars or boats to the test! These two events have become must-do activities and are hugely popular with both the kids and the Amigos!
