Holiday Cheer Brought to Casa Pacifica Campus
December 12, 2017 Camarillo, CA - On Friday, December 1st, longtime Casa Pacifica supporter Pat Bostrom donated and decorated a beautiful Christmas tree for the Casa Pacifica youth to enjoy. Pat was joined by friends, Arlene and Sharon to help spread the holiday spirit. The decorated Christmas tree is located in the Intake Department where the youth check in and out every time they leave or come back to campus. The hundreds of family visits that will occur over the month will also enjoy the beautiful tree in the Intake Department which adds a warm holiday element, brings a sense of normalcy, and helps make the family visits feel extra special. The tree is perfectly positioned in the bay window of Intake and when lit at night, can be viewed from the quad for all the youth to see.
We want to thank Pat for all the time and effort she spent planning and purchasing items for the tree to make it absolutely perfect for our youth. Supporters like Pat who take the time to do extra special projects like the Christmas tree, help Casa Pacifica feel a little bit more like home for our youth during the holidays – which are a time of joy for many, but are often the hardest time of year for our youth. “While decorating, one of the little girls walked through Intake, stopped in awe and said she had never had a Christmas tree before. It is so rewarding to do things like this!” said Pat of her time spent decorating at Casa Pacifica.
Pat and her husband Herb, have been supporting Casa Pacifica since 2010. They are active donors and frequent supporters of our Spotlight on Style Fashion Show. Most recently they have been involved in the Building New Foundations of Hope Capital Campaign which involves a two building expansion on Casa Pacifica’s Camarillo Campus. In addition to their annual support, Pat and Herb are hosting a Christmas party and have asked the attendees to bring a Christmas gift for Casa Pacifica children.
