Four New Members Welcomed to Casa Pacifica Board of Directors
Camarillo, CA November 9, 2017 – Casa Pacifica is proud to welcome four new members to its Board of Directors this year. Comprised of 24 individuals, Casa Pacifica’s board members offer a wealth of experience and expertise in a wide range of areas, such as the legal field with several lawyers; law enforcement with Ventura County’s Sheriff; in financial services with representatives from a number of banks, investment, and insurance services; in business with a variety of industries from the medical field to construction to agricultural management to equipment rentals; in the field of education with the retired superintendent of the Moorpark Unified School District; as well as several community advocates. Casa Pacifica’s new Directors include:
EDWARD ELSON, M.D. – Dr. Elson is a retired physician (2015) whose practice focused on Internal Medicine of the Kidney. Dr. Elson practiced in Oxnard and held affiliations at hospitals in Oxnard, Camarillo, and Ventura.
ERIC SHAIN – The Vice President, Production Finance for Disney ABC Television Group. Mr. Shain is a Certified Public Accountant and has worked for Disney in some financial/accounting capacity since 2001. He currently oversees both the internal and external financial aspects of development and production of both short-form and longform original programming for Disney Channel, Disney XD, Freeform and Disney Jr.
BART STERN, CPM – Mr. Stern is president of Ventura Investment Co., an investment and real estate firm based in Camarillo with offices in Nevada and Arizona, that specializes in the purchase, management, and disposition of apartment communities and commercial properties in the western United States. The firm is ranked as the second largest operator of residential properties in the California Central Coast region by the Pacific Coast Business Times.
JEFFREY TILLMAN – Mr. Tillman is the Western Director of Business Development for Crowe Horwath LLP, Los Angeles, which is one of the largest accounting firms in the United States, and the leading member of Crowe Horwath International, one of the largest global accounting firms. Mr. Tillman is also the President Emeritus of ACG 101 – a branch of the Association for Corporate Growth, which is dedicated to supporting and prospering middle market companies’ growth along the 101 Freeway corridor.
