Casa Pacifica’s Yummie Top Chef Dinner Makes Big Move

Camarillo, CA – Tickets are on sale for the 9th Annual Yummie Top Chef Dinner hosted by the Cassar Family. The Dinner will take place on Friday evening May 13th at Rancho De Las Palmas in Moorpark. The Dinner has previously been held the Friday before Casa Pacifica’s award-winning Angels Wine, Food & Brew Festival at CSU Channel Islands which is slated for Sunday, June 5th this year. All proceeds from both events benefit Casa Pacifica’s mental health programs and services for foster and at-risk youth and their families. The seven-course dinner will be created by winnings chefs from the Festival’s Yummie Culinary Competition. Dinner tickets and sponsorships are available at cpwinefoodbrewfest.com.

Several chefs are already signed on for the Dinner, including some of the most recent Yummie Culinary Competition winners from 2021 – 1st place winner Chef Alex Montoya of Water’s Edge, Waterside & Honey Cup, 2nd place winner Chef Julia San Bartolome of Sweet Arleen’s, and 3rd place winners Chef Oscar Ledesma of Limon y Sal and Lisa Morris of LiMor Cakes. Former three-peat winner Chef Alex Castillo also joins the impressive line-up. Past winner-turned-Yummie Culinary Competition Judge Chef Nic Manocchio of University Auxiliary Services CSU Channel Islands also joins the chef line up. The Dinner will also include a wine pairing by Opolo Vineyards, along with other wineries, as well as the 2022 Best in Fest Brew which will be crowned in April.
