Camarillo, CA – Casa Pacifica’s 6th Annual Yummie Top Chef Dinner will be held on Friday evening May 31st at CSU Channel Islands. This year’s Dinner – An Elegant Evening at the Garden - will feature past Yummie Culinary Competition winners from the Casa Pacifica Angels Wine, Food & Brew Festival. The chefs will be creating a special seven-course dinner for the guests, paired with award-winning wines and this year’s “Best in Fest” Brew. All wine pairings will be provided by The Cave in Ventura and the “Best in Fest” brew will be picked at the “Best in Fest” Brewery Competition on April 28th. Retired Ventura County Sheriff Geoff Dean will emcee the festivities. All proceeds from the Yummie Top Chef Dinner directly support Casa Pacifica and their vital programs for foster and at-risk youth.
Participating chefs for this year’s Dinner include: Three-time 1st place winner and defending champ Chef Alex Castillo, Twenty88 Bistro; Chef Anastashia Chavez, The 2686 Kitchen/Ojai Beverage Co.; Chef Jason Collis, Plated Events by Chef Jason; Chef Tim Kilcoyne, World Central Kitchen; Chef Nic Manocchio, University Auxiliary Services CSU Channel Islands; Chef Amanda Pritchett, Ragamuffin Coffee Roasters; Chef Julia San Bartolome, Sweet Arleen’s; Chef Alex Montoya, Fluid State Beer Garden; and Chef Ricardo T.
