Casa Pacifica Welcomes New Host to the Angels Wine, Food & Brew Festival!

Camarillo, CA – Preparations for the 24th annual Casa Pacifica Angels Wine, Food & Brew Festival are well underway and Casa Pacifica is pleased to announce a new Host – Mission Produce – will be joining returning Hosts – The Zarley Family; The Van Huisen Family; Nevers, Palazzo, Packard, Wildermuth & Wynner, PC; and Conico Oil/MacValley Oil Company for the 2017 Festival! Including this year’s Festival, the Zarley Family will have hosted the event for nine years, and the Van Huisen Family for eight years. The Festival will be held from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm. on Sunday, June 4th at California State University Channel Islands’ beautiful campus in Camarillo.

Each year Festival sponsors, and most prominently the Hosts, provide significant financial support, which establishes a solid foundation for the costs of holding the Festival and guarantees the event will garner substantial proceeds to benefit the many campus- and community-based programs and services Casa Pacifica provides to abused, neglected, and at-risk children and their families.

In addition to the participation of the generous Hosts, Mastros’ Steakhouse will once again sponsor the VIP Entrance and offer a taste of what is to come inside the Festival grounds with a champagne welcome, delicious Mastro’s hors d’oeuvres, and musical entertainment. The VIP Lounge presented by Wells Fargo will also offer sponsors, their guests, and VIP ticket holders exclusive food, drink, and entertainment including the Anheuser Busch Belgium Beer Garden (featuring Stella Artois, Leffe, and Hoegaarden brews); selections of gourmet fare prepared by Plated Events by Chef Jason; delicious vintages from Magnavino Cellars; Twenty88 (martinis); photo booth fun with Conejo Photo; and the cool grooves of the band Sound Effect.

The Wine, Food & Brew Festival weekend will be kicked off with the 4th annual Yummie Top Chef Dinner, hosted by the Cassar Family, which will take place on Friday evening, June 2nd, in the Festival’s VIP tent. The seven-course dinner features creations by past Wine, Food & Brew Festival Yummie competition winners paired with wines from our region’s best wineries and one course paired with this year’s “Best in Fest” brewery winner.
Tickets are now on sale for both the Wine, Food & Brew Festival and the Yummie Top Chef Dinner. Visit the Festival’s website at www.cpwinefoodbrewfest.com. to purchase tickets.

The Wine, Food & Brew Festival is still welcoming sponsors and exhibitors!
