Casa Pacifica Spotlight on Style Fashion Show Lit Up Runway on November 5th
Westlake Village, CA November 8, 2016 – One of the finest fashion events in Ventura County, the Casa Pacifica Angels “Spotlight on Style” Fashion Show, took place on Saturday, November 5th, 2016, at the Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village. Guests enjoyed a great afternoon of fabulous fashion, sumptuous dining, and unique boutique shopping. The fabulous day was hosted by Susan & Ken Bauer, and Carin Holmenas Productions produced an incredible runway fashion show featuring the beautiful clothing creations of designer Marḡi Kent, whose most recent designs are a collection that celebrates the casual California lifestyle, and who held a special meet and greet with fashion-loving guests following the show.
Guests enjoyed a champagne reception while they perused a variety of designer boutiques featuring a wonderful collection of accessories, clothing, and gifts to satisfy the most discerning of shoppers, and featuring the perfect one-of-a-kind gifts to buy for friends and family for the holidays.
A silent auction offered baskets filled to the brim with amazing experience packages and personal pampering opportunities, including a fabulous stay at a cozy beach house on Hollywood Beach; an incredible men’s Porsche timepiece; and a stylish, hip cocktail and hors d’oeurves party for eight (8) guests hosted by the local restaurant and bar, Twenty88, among many other fabulous offerings. One very unique opportunity was a special Russian Dinner, featuring traditional European and Russian-style cuisine by Pierre’s Catering. The dinner will be held at a private home for up to 50 guests on Saturday, January 14th. Some tickets are still available for purchase to this event. The raffle opportunity featured a very unique, one-of-a-kind, impressively beautiful mannequin holiday tree that stood 5’8” tall and easily rolled on castors.
Top level sponsors of the “Spotlight on Style” event included: Hosts - Susan & Ken Bauer; Spotlight Sponsors – Hugh and Keets Cassar, Four Seasons Hotel, and Richard and Marilyn Stoddard; Haute Couture Sponsors – Patricia and Herb Bostrom, Neiman Marcus Topanga, Procter & Gamble, and Wells Fargo; Couture Sponsors – Bill and Jewell Gerald Powell, Five Star Bookkeeping, Pacific Western Bank, Porta-Stor, and the Volk Family Trust; Designer Sponsors – Susan Burgos, California Giant Berry, Fuzion-The Art & Craft of Fused Glass by Frances Elson, Home Helpers, The Hopps Group at Morgan Stanley, Carolyn Huntsinger, Michael McCarthy, DDS, Monetcito Bank & Trust, Ed O’Brien and Parry Weet O’Brien, The Shoppes at Westlake, and the Weidenweber Family Foundation.
