As we celebrate the holidays, it’s important to be mindful that for many, especially after a traumatic event such as the death of a loved one, the season brings more pain than joy. This is true of children and teens as well as adults; if your child or teen has recently gone through a difficult period of their life, be sure to keep a close eye on them and pay attention to signs of depression and anxiety in the midst of celebrations.
