We understand that for many families, paying for high quality treatment can be difficult. Often, insurance companies favor low cost or in-network treatment options over higher quality, individualized, and comprehensive programs. Unfortunately, this can result in incomplete treatment that can cost substantially more in the long run as further treatment is needed.
At Casa Pacifica, we are in-network with and accept most major insurances. We also work with families on verifying out-of-network benefits when necessary and we do all the legwork to obtain authorization for treatment from the insurance company. Additionally, we maintain communication with the insurance company to advocate on behalf of you and your child.
The first step for families interested in using their insurance to pay for treatment is to verify eligibility to determine what mental health and substance abuse benefits are covered. Our verification team works with you and your insurance company to confirm these benefits and determine what, if any, out-of-pocket expenses you may incur such as co-pays or deductibles. Confirmation of benefits usually occurs that same business day. Fill out our easy, online Insurance Verification form below.
Once benefits are confirmed, our licensed therapists will speak with the parent or referring professional to determine if the child meets insurance requirements for a residential level of care as well as if the child is best suited for Casa Pacifica.
At Casa Pacifica Centers for Children and Families, we know many insurance plans require participants to pay up front co-payments and/or co-insurance which in some circumstances become a financial barrier to treatment. That is why we have partnered with Freedom Loans to provide affordable signature loans to help pay these deductibles and get your child on the path to Hope & Help. Please advise your admissions coordinator of your desire to pursue this option.
Many parents often prefer to pay for treatment services out of pocket in full at time of admission rather than work through an insurance company. Sometimes, parents would like to receive an itemized bill of services at the time of discharge, referred to as a “super-bill” to submit to their insurance provider. Casa Pacifica will provide parents with an itemized claim if requested and is available to assist in submitting any paperwork required by the insurance provider at no additional cost.
Upon acceptance to START, our Intake team will work closely with you on scheduling an admission including assistance with the admission application, scheduling an admission for the next available bed, and/or assisting parents on how to best transport their child to Casa Pacifica to begin treatment. Call us today for a free, no obligation, confidential screening to see if the START program is right for you and your family.
