Intake Specialist

Under the guidance of the Intake Supervisor, the Intake Specialist is responsible for admissions, discharges, visitations and serves as the central communication system both inter-agency and intra-departmental. Responsible to carry out the mission of Casa Pacifica and the treatment philosophies and approaches as they pertain to the day-to day operations of the Intake Department. During crisis situations or when census and staffing dictates until staff can be secured, may be required to assist cottages to provide support, supervision and treatment in accordance with programs, including SAFE-approved techniques.
Requirements: Previous experience working in residential setting; good working understanding of child and adolescent development and behavior management; aptitude to manage severely emotionally challenged children and adolescents; Good interpersonal skills reflecting professionalism and competence. Degree in related field preferred.
Description: Intake Specialist must have demonstrated ability to maintain excellent interactive skills when dealing with a multitude of individuals in a very fast-paced and changing environment. Position requires excellent phone etiquette, ability to be flexible, multi-task and prioritize. Good computer knowledge and familiarity with Avatar helpful.
Hours: Full Time 40 hours per week.
Shift: Wednesday - Saturday 2-10p (alternating weekends Saturday & Sunday 9a-10p)
Wages: 12.00+hr D.O.E.

Resident House Advisor (RHA)

Duties include: Under the direction of the Chief Advancement Officer and Director of Alumni Services, the Resident House Advisor is to provide support, encouragement and leadership to the emerging adults that will be residing in the Stepping Stones Transitional Living Houses. This is a live-in position. The RHA will empower the residents to grow and develop as good citizens and independent thinkers. The RHA helps to facilitate a positive living environment. She/he carries out the mission of Casa Pacifica as it pertains to the activities of the Development office including but not limited to: administrative support, media involvement, conducting tours of the facility, and serving as a representative of Casa Pacifica at community events. The RHA must reside at the Stepping Stones Transitional Living houses. RHA will receive full rent waiver which includes utilities. Receives salary.  RHA may have part-time job that does not interfere with their duties and responsibilities.
Requirements: High School education, Bachelor’s degree desired, at least 4 years of direct service work experience with severally emotionally disturbed (SED) youth and emerging adult ages 14-24 is highly desirable. Candidate must have the ability to use various types of computer software and computer hardware to include word-processing and spreadsheets. Strong organizational and clerical skills are essential. RHA must have the ability to manage several projects at one time. Female applicants preferred based on population.
Hours: Resides on-site overnight Monday - Sunday (Respite time off to be utilized as needed and requested)

Certified Therapuetic Recreation Specialist-CTRS or NTRC

Qualifications: BA degree in RecreationTherapy or related field. NTRC required or must be obtained within one year of employment. Experience required. Must have demonstrated strong knowledge in recreation therapy and behavior intervention.

Per Diem LVN - Health Clinic

Qualifications: Current California LVN license. IV certification preferred. BLS required. Bilingual a +.

Wages: $21.00 per hour

Licensed Psychologist

Qualifications: Licensed registered Ph.D. or Psy.D. with five to six years experience working with severely emotionally disturbed adolescents doing family assessments and treatment, and behavior management. Responsibilities include providing and implementing individual, group and family therapy for adolescents within a multi-disciplinary treatment team environment and supervising interns and post doctoral fellows. Position also involves liaison activities with placement agencies, mental health and child protective services. Will work with youth in a cognitive behavioral setting, Assisting in the development of family based programs. Case management experience a plus. Bilingual preferred.
Location: Cottage Area - Residential Treatment Program, Main Campus Lewis Road, Camarillo
Wages: $65,000.00 - $72,000.00 D.O.E.
Hours/Schedule: Monday - Friday flexible schedule with rotating on-call.

Per Diem Licensed Clinician/Crisis Intervention

Duties include but are not limited to: Responding to crisis calls immediately by phone and in person within one hour. Utilizing clinical skill set to deescalate and begin assessment to determine mental health needs, completing assessment regarding need for hospitalization (voluntary or 5150/5585). If hospitalization is required, has the ability to write a 5150/5585 hold, will secure a hospital bed, and arrange for transportation of the client to the hospital when necessary.
Qualifications: MFCC/ LCSW CA licensed registered w/ BBS, with a minimum of three years experience working with severely emotionally disturbed adolescents doing family assessments and treatment, and behavior management; or, equivalent combination of education and experience.

Wages: $24.00 hr+ DOE
Per Diem: Per diem staff are defined as individuals who are paid an hourly rate to cover for departmental needs (vacant shifs, call outs, extra support). Hours will vary; must be able to cover two weekend shifts a month.

Per Diem-Youth Development Specialist(s)

Qualifications: Minimum of one year experience working with children who have emotional and behavioral challenges and disorders. Works directly with youth in cottages. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Location: Cottage Area - Main Campus Lewis Road, Camarillo
Wages: $11.00+ an hour depending on education and related experience
Hours/Schedule: As needed-Must be available to work some weekends, evenings and overnight shifts.

Per Diem Clinical Case Manager- Crisis Intervention

Casa Pacifica’s CIRT (Children’s Intensive Response Team) Program, is seeking a qualified clinical intern to work with our 24/7 mobile crisis team on a part time basis. 
Duties include but are not limited to: Responding to crisis calls immediately by phone and in person within one hour. Utilizing clinical skill set to deescalate and begin assessment to determine mental health needs, completing assessment regarding need for hospitalization (voluntary or 5150/5585). If hospitalization is required, has the ability to write a 5150/5585 hold, will secure a hospital bed, and arrange for transportation of the client to the hospital when necessary.
Qualifications: Licensed Eligible Clinician (MFTI, MSW) registered w/ BBS, with a minimum of three years experience working with severely emotionally disturbed adolescents doing family assessments and treatment, and behavior management; or, equivalent combination of education and experience.
Location: Children Intensive Response Team, 975 Flynn Road, Camarillo
Wages: $20.00 hr + D.O.E. and hours towards licensure

Mental Health Clinician-Crisis Intervention

The Children’s Intensive Response Team (CIRT) is a mobile crisis response service available to all Ventura County children and youth through the age of 21. CIRT is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. A CIRT Clinician is responsible for immediate response to emergency referrals via telephone and face to face within 60 minutes, deescalating the situation, ensuring the safety of the child and others in the immediate situation and provide follow-up with the child and family within 24 hours of responding to the call. Other duties including, completing assessments regarding need for hospitalization (voluntary or 5150/5585). If hospitalization is required, has the ability to write a 5150/5585 hold, will secure a hospital bed, and arrange for transportation of the client to the hospital when necessary.
Qualifications: Licensed Clinician (LCSW, MFT, Psy.D., Ph.D.) registered w/ BBS or BOP, with a minimum of three years experience working with severely emotionally disturbed adolescents doing family assessments and treatment, and behavior management; or, equivalent combination of education and experience.
Location: Children Intensive Response Team, 975 Flynn Road, Camarillo
Wages:
$55,000.00 yearly + D.O.E., degree, licensure. A stipend for overnight coverage is also paid.         
Hours/Schedule: Full Time/Exempt (40 hrs) w/ on-call work required from time to time.

Family Facilitator

The Family Facilitator coordinates and provides leadership in the development and implementation of the service plans, provides direct services to children and their families and facilities the integration and coordination of services.  Assumes responsibility for the Family Service Plan management, implementation of services / coordination of resources (monitoring the Child and Family Plan expenses / budget and securing community team approval for overall budgeted plans); submits required billing forms and progress reports on a timely basis. Serves as a role model/advocate for families involved in the wraparound process and assists in the ongoing development and evaluation of the Wrap Around program. 
Requirements: Master’s degree is required w/ at least two years experience working with SED/high risk children, adolescents, and their families with in a mental health setting. Qualified candidates must have strong case management/facilitation skills and the ability to engage parents as partners in the treatment of their child. 
Individual must also demonstrate leadership qualities and have the ability to successfully work with families from diverse ethnic and cultural groups.  Candidate must also and have experience with crisis management.  Bilingual is highly preferred. 
Wages: $42,000.00 yearly + DOE
Hours: M-F/ Flexible schedule (Must be flexible to meet the needs of the family) with rotating on-call requirement
